Who is a Web Developer?
A web developer is a professional who specialises in designing and creating websites and web applications for the internet. They are responsible for the technical aspects of building websites, which involves writing code, creating the structure of web pages, implementing functionality, and ensuring that the site works correctly across different browsers and devices.
What You Will Learn
The curriculum comprises of seven modules:
Web Dev Fundamentals
Delve into the fundamentals of terminal usage, version control with Git, collaborative coding with GitHub, creating structured content using Markdown and more.

Web Design
Learn web design, starting with the basics of HTML and CSS, and progressing to advanced concepts in web styling using Sass, Bootstrap, and Tailwind CSS.

JavaScript
This module introduces learners to basic interactivity to advanced dynamic web applications. It also incorporates OOP principles for robust code.
Technologies & Tools
Single Page Application
Create dynamic, responsive web apps using React and learn how to work with React frameworks like NextJS as well build API integrated web apps.

Quality Testing
Dive into the world of software quality assurance. Learn the fundamentals of manual and automated testing, test planning, execution, and reporting.

Final Project
Learn to conceptualize, plan, and execute. Apply web development, design, and testing skills to build a real-world web application.

Boost German skills and your prospects post-course. Specialised vocabulary related to UX/UI and web dev is part of the module.

- To qualify, you need to be a German resident currently registered as unemployed with the Agentur für Arbeit/Jobcenter
- The MacBook given is yours to keep after the course
- The course is full-time and attendance is mandatory
- A certificate will be issued at the end of the course indicating your tech skills and German language level.
- No previous experience or knowledge is required. Just know how to use a computer comfortably
- This course is not for university students

Phone Assessment Interview
If you qualify for the program, our admission team will get in touch with you by phone. The call is an essential part of the process as it ensures that your language skills are enough to join the course, that your expectations align with the objectives and requirements of the program and to answer any questions that you may have.
Receive an offer letter
After the phone interview, you will receive an offer letter from us. You need to share this document with your agent at the Agentur für Arbeit/Jobcenter and explain to them why and how the course could be beneficial for your career.
Bildungsgutschein Approval
Once your agent approves your application, you will get a Bildungsgutschein. Send it to your Beam’s admission agent to formalise your participation in the course.
